Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Guest Room Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in guest rooms.
  • Maintain a positive organizational culture by adhering to the principles of the Spirit of Tlcn and the Core Values of ilani.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms and floors, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing linens and amenities.
  • Arrange toiletries and bedroom amenities to pre-set standards.
  • Maintain assigned cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Report any maintenance problems or repairs to a Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Follow established chemical and key control usage and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supply inventory in storage areas.
  • Assist with recycling efforts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a supportive team environment.
  • Previous cleaning experience or ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to learn hotel operating systems.
  • Ability to maintain an average room inspection score of 90% or higher.
  • Ability to complete a twelve-credit quota within an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent reaching, lifting, and bending.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work various shifts and flexible hours.
  • Ability to maintain highest level of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations.
