Job Opportunity at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CLP Trainee. As a CLP Trainee, you will have the opportunity to acquire your Class B Commercial Driver's License and gain hands-on experience in the ready-mix concrete industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend our in-house FMCSA / TXDPS accredited CDL Learning Center for a four-week course
  • Learn all facets of Federal and State DOT regulations, Commercial Motor Skills, and Pre-Tipping a Commercial Vehicle
  • Obtain your CLP (Commercial Learners Permit) within the first week
  • Test your skills and knowledge by taking your CDL Driving Skills Test by the end of the fourth week
  • Graduate from our HM CDL Learning Center to a live production Rady-Mix facility where you will work and train with one of our highly motivated and respected Driver Mentors
Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Be able to learn at an accelerated pace
  • Be self-motivated and study course material at home
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be punctual and attend all sessions of the course
  • Work in a group environment
  • Pass a pre-screening questionnaire
  • Pay a one-time $25.00 processing fee to TXDPS for your CDL (check or Money order only)
