Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Carrier to join our team at the United States Postal Service. As a Mail Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting mail on foot or by vehicle, maintaining professional and effective public relations with customers, and adhering to postal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect mail along a prescribed route, on foot or by vehicle, on a regular schedule.
  • Handle undeliverable mail in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use portable electronic scanners as instructed.
  • Deliver and collect charges on customs, postage-due, and c.o.d. mail matter.
  • Sign for registered and insured mail at the post office before beginning route and account for it upon return.
Requirements
  • Valid state driver's license and safe driving record.
  • At least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger.
  • Ability to communicate in and understand the English language with or without a reasonable disability accommodation.
