Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $$97,379.20 and $$132,544.80, based on the base pay range of $48.32 to $66.65 per hour. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to new mothers and their babies, including assessments, interventions, and education
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify risk factors, and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current Oregon Registered Nurse license
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
