Job Summary:

Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Cath Lab Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct, plan, and organize nursing activities on the unit for an assigned shift, focusing on patient, physician, and staff needs.
  • Deliver skilled patient care through the nursing process, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care among patient/family, medicine, nursing, ancillary, and other team personnel, acting as a patient advocate.
  • Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as a shift Charge Nurse, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of nursing care and operation of the nursing unit.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical/ICU/E.D./OR/PACU/OPS/NICU.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Certification per unit-specific competency (i.e., BLS, CPI, etc.).
  • NIHS Scale, stroke education, cardiac education, and ortho education as per department-specific competencies.
