Position Overview

The Dignity Health Cancer Institute (DHCI) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is in search of a dedicated and skilled professional for a new urologic oncology role. This position entails performing intricate genitourinary procedures, including robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive surgeries targeting prostate, kidney, and bladder conditions. The successful candidate will collaborate with a specialized pelvic and abdominal surgery team.

Clinical Responsibilities

The role includes providing outpatient clinical services, conducting office-based procedures, and engaging in the multidisciplinary tumor board at DHCI. The Dignity Health Cancer Institute is a state-of-the-art, multi-story facility equipped with a procedural endoscopy suite, infusion center, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy. Our institute comprises seven active multidisciplinary disease teams, integrating expertise from medical, surgical, radiation, radiology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care disciplines. Key responsibilities include:
  • Building a robust clinical practice
  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Participating in clinical trials programs
  • Contributing to the education of residents and medical students

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of a Urologic Oncology fellowship
  • Board Certification in Urology
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care
  • Eligibility for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Capability to secure full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges
