We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team in a rural setting within the Adirondack Mountains Region of New York.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the rural hospital.
- Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and post-operative care.
- Conduct regular hospital rounds to assess patient progress and make treatment adjustments.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Must have a valid New York state medical license.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or relevant specialty.
- Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
