Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in North Carolina

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Weatherby Healthcare, providing locums coverage in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for medical professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and have a strong interest in pediatric medicine.
About the PositionThis Pediatric Hospitalist position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for evaluating and managing critically ill infants and children. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional patient care, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications- You must have an active state license to practice medicine.
- You should have either board certification (BC) or board eligibility (BE) in Pediatrics.
- The schedule will involve weekdays, days, call, and weekend call shifts.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required.
- You can expect an average of 2 admissions per day, with patients seen at the clinic.
- You will need to demonstrate skills in neonatal resuscitation, circumcisions, and ability to accept ED calls as required.
- Credentialing and DEA registration will be necessary.
