Occupational Therapist Assistant

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated base pay range for this position is $33.90 to $42.38 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities- Promote independence in activities of daily living through problem-solving, suggesting adaptations, and observing students.
- Assist occupational therapists in determining the extent to which goals and objectives are being met by collecting and maintaining data on individual client goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to share information and expertise, planning and implementing effective client programs.
- Implement individualized or small group therapeutic programs prescribed by occupational therapists based on goals and objectives.
- Utilize task analysis to suggest techniques to the team regarding feeding, activities of daily living, etc.
- A current California Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
- 1-year experience in pediatrics or autism.
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Proficiency in using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Preferrably knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
