Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a critical role in facilitating communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their teachers and peers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality interpretation services in a school setting, ensuring that students who are deaf or hard of hearing have equal access to education.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, families, and school staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting.
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Travel reimbursement.
