- Aseptic Technique: Exhibit a strong commitment to maintaining aseptic conditions throughout surgical procedures.
- Instrument Management: Accurately account for and manage surgical instruments and equipment during operations.
- Medication Handling: Properly label and manage medications and solutions utilized in the surgical setting.
- Supply Management: Participate in the organization and stocking of necessary supplies for surgical procedures.
- Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive medical and employee information.
- Service Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to exceptional service through positive interactions and professional conduct.
- Cleaning and Sterilization: Ensure all surgical instruments are cleaned and sterilized post-procedure, assisting with inventory management.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all institutional policies and procedures diligently.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technician Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks under pressure, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
