We are seeking a self-motivated, ethical, and professional individual with a proactive mindset who is comfortable in challenging situations. This role involves overseeing, training, and guiding the contingent workforce assigned to our facilities, encompassing the following key responsibilities: Addressing payroll concerns promptly, making hiring decisions, conducting orientations, and facilitating employee training.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS OF A TEAM LEAD:
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in Warehouse/Distribution or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Supervisory experience within a manufacturing context.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong leadership attributes.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and assertiveness skills are required.
  • Ability to work flexible or extended hours and meet deadlines as necessary.
  • Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TEAM LEAD:
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Supervise all personnel in designated work areas.
  • Provide safety training and conduct observations.
  • Deliver hands-on training to new hires.
  • Prepare and submit shift reports.
  • Monitor employee performance.
  • Manage scheduling and timekeeping for employees.

SHIFT AND COMPENSATION OF A TEAM LEAD:
  • Flexibility is required for shifts from 3:45 PM to 2:30 AM, which may include extended hours to meet client goals.
  • Availability via phone for employees and/or clients is essential to support business needs.
  • Compensation is set at $18.00 per hour.
