Barista - Beverage Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Eurest. As a key member of our foodservice team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and related food items to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS device; accept cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Evaluate presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following production standards.
• Clean display equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
• Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
• Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards. Serve food neatly and attractively per standard.
