About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated Team Driver to join our team at XPO. As a Team Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, working closely with your partner driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and wants to be part of a dynamic team.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $63,000 per year, based on a weekly pay of $1,212 and mileage pay of $0.455 per mile. In addition to the base pay, you will also receive reimbursement for on-the-road showers and hourly pay of $33.07 for en route waiting times of more than an hour due to traffic, construction or weather-related delays.

Job Responsibilities

As a Team Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Running loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off.
  • Working with fellow XPO employees to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Navigating various routes and maintaining CMV safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
Requirements
  • Be a member of an existing team.
  • Able to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid Class A commercial drivers license.
  • Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
  • Safe driving record and history.
  • Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
  • Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
  • Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.
