Job Title: Behavioral Intervention Specialist

Charlevoix Public Schools seeks a skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support staff in maintaining a positive learning environment with high academic and behavioral standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary students in need of behavioral intervention.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the school team to plan and implement behavioral interventions for students in need of extra support.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify areas for proactive intervention.
  • Work with teachers to assess and improve student behavior.
  • Develop and implement restorative practices for students.
  • Support students who are dysregulated.
  • Recognize and reward positive student behaviors.
  • Participate in team efforts to achieve building and district goals.
  • Attend professional development opportunities to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with elementary students in need of behavioral intervention
