Job Title: Phlebotomy Specialist

About the Role:
This position may be located within a Hospital Facility, Patient Service Center (PSC), In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) or Mobile Diagnostic Services (MDS). The successful candidate will provide coverage at multiple locations, working in various settings to collect and receive biological specimens, enter data into our computer system, prepare samples for analytical testing, and distribute them to the proper area. This role also involves performing specified analytical testing as assigned and adhering to guidelines set by the Code of Conduct.

Main Responsibilities:
- Collect and process biological specimens from patients, ensuring correct identification and handling to maintain specimen integrity.
- Enter patient demographics, test requests, and other relevant information into our computer system accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing, labeling and delivering them to the technical area on time.
- Assist with workflow monitoring and training new employees to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy program completion or experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
