We are seeking an experienced PCU/Step-down Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and the ability to work closely with patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment.

About the Role

As a PCU/Step-down Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring cardiac and other vital signs, detecting any changes, and intervening in life-threatening or emergency situations. You will also utilize computer equipment to monitor patient information and provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess patients who are not unstable enough to require ICU care.
  • Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information and detect any changes, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
