About This Opportunity

This Software Engineer Data Analysis role is part of our Launch Vehicles Data Analysis Team in Chandler, Arizona. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Northrop Grumman's Data Analysis Toolset.

You will also support Launch Vehicle programs directly with various tasks related to telemetry data analysis. The Team Member shall be a self-motivated python developer who is experienced in and will be responsible for the development of Python based Data Analysis desktop applications, Web-based forms, and supporting databases.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to determine application features, processes, and tool usage.
  • Support integration and deployment of applications.
  • Support Epic, Story, and Task creation, refinement, implementation, and testing.
  • Contribute to Peer Reviews and/or pair programming.
  • Collaborate on Agile Process Improvement, DevOps Pipeline Improvement, Web-App Architecture, and Technology Stack.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering +2 years of relevant experience OR Masters Degree + 0 years of experience.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience as a developer on an Agile Team.
  • Experience developing software in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Chandler, AZ facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a JavaScript framework. EX: NodeJS
  • Experience with Jenkins pipeline development/maintenance.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with relational database.
  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with PCM telemetry / IRIG 106

Your Benefits

  • Salary Range: $77,200 - $115,800
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  • Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
  • Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
  • In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
