About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook II to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow recipes and product instructions to ensure accurate preparation of menu items.
  • Estimate food requirements and plan inventory to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Operate a range of kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare, cook, and present food in a safe and sanitary manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods, including soups, salads, and entrees.
  • Properly store and handle food to maintain quality and prevent contamination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
