Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor will oversee the packaging line staff to ensure that daily production targets are met efficiently. This role involves supervising the packaging of various poultry products while adhering to both internal and USDA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage packaging line personnel to achieve set production goals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards during the packaging of poultry products.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations for hourly employees, implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Promote a safe working environment by conducting safety training and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members regarding productivity, quality, and safety issues.
  • Optimize line management to meet company yield objectives.
  • Support quality assurance and food safety initiatives to comply with company and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in required training sessions related to Quality Control and Human Resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid mathematical skills for calculations related to quality and productivity.
  • Ability to evaluate employee performance fairly and objectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt production processes to meet changing demands.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
