Job Title: ICP Instructor

Georgetown University is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated ICP Instructor to join our team at the Center for Multicultural Equity & Access. As an ICP Instructor, you will play a crucial role in fostering intellectual growth, cultural understanding, and personal development among a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach middle school and high school core or elective subjects, utilizing instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lessons, aligned with the program curriculum and objectives.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors to plan interdisciplinary lessons and implement inclusive pedagogy and enhance engagement for the students.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in your field of expertise and incorporate relevant and current content into your teaching.
Requirements:
  • Professional experience tutoring or teaching a classroom.
  • Professional or personal experience with underserved students of color.
  • Professional experience with curriculum development and standards of practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to connect with and inspire diverse groups of students.
  • A commitment to fostering inclusivity, cultural awareness, and equity in education.
Work Environment:

The ICP Instructor will primarily engage with middle and high school students to provide a supportive educational environment. In addition, the ICP Instructor reports to CMEA's Director and/or Faculty Coordinator.
