As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist with CHRISTUS Health, you will play a vital role in the cardiovascular and bariatric services department. Under the direction of the Director of Cardiovascular and Bariatric Services, you will operate all Cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment, performing duties such as scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing as indicated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate all Cath lab equipment and digital processing equipment
- Perform duties such as scrub assistant, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing
- Contribute to the general operation of the department by picking up supplies, stocking supplies, and keeping the work area orderly
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development to perform procedures on and assist in the care of the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient
- Specialize in diagnostic cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral angiography, permanent pacemaker implantation, and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implantation
Work Schedule: Per Diem As Needed
