Insurance Business Development Specialist

We're growing rapidly and seeking a talented, detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Partner Development Associate (Remote/Hybrid). Under the direction of the Head of Partnerships, this role will be responsible for researching, contacting, evaluating, and closing new partners. Potential partners include trade groups, associations, schools, event organizers, and other like-minded individuals who want their clients, customers, students, or vendors to carry the peace of mind insurance protection we offer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound industry research to develop pipelines, compiling contacts through trade associations/groups, companies, and event organizers/promoters in HubSpot. Develop outbound success strategies for playbooks, call scripts, email templates, and sequences.
- Perform partnership outreach through calls, emails, and development of outbound sequences in HubSpot, following up on sales inquiries via email and phone to discuss partnering with us.
- Respond to inbound partnerships inquiries through calls, emails, and additional insured workflow emails, partnership web forms, customer service referrals, and partner referrals.
- Closing partners through scheduled virtual meetings, outbound calls, email correspondence, contract development, review, and discussion of how an enrollment link would be shared for vendors/exhibitors, adding contacts and contracts to HubSpot and Outlaw, etc.
- Regular HubSpot maintenance includes adding new contacts and deals into HubSpot, moving deals through each stage as they happen, updating all contacts and deals immediately after each interaction, completing checklists, logging calls in HubSpot if not recorded, and checking dashboards for incomplete data.
- Meet or exceed SMART goals & KPIs, including policy growth, calls, emails, asking for referrals, scheduling appointments, etc.
- Collaborate to solve partner challenges by interacting with other PSAs & PDAs when needed, closing partnerships with the Partnership leadership team, speaking to other departments within the company when necessary, creating business cases to evaluate potential partners, and assessing marketing fee or data share opportunities with potential partners.
