Shift Schedule: 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
Holiday Work: Required to work on holidays that coincide with regular workdays.
On-Call Duties: Must be available for 3 on-call shifts per month and 1 on-call weekend every other month.
Specialization: Strong proficiency in surgical procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination areas for patient assessments.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to capture clear and usable diagnostic images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process.
- Input commands and data into the system to document and define scan sequences, while monitoring the video display to adjust density or contrast as needed.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and adhering to protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
- Generate diagnostic images, relay critical information to the physician, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate daily procedure schedules for emergencies and oversee radiographic supply inventory.
- Handle administrative duties, including responding to technical inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing pre-procedure guidance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic machinery.
