Tact Staff is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Shift Length: 12 hours

As a travel nurse in the PCU, you will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:4+ for PCU and 1:5 for Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, with at least 1 year in a PCU setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Key qualifications include:

  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
  • Experience in EKG interpretation and management
  • Proficiency in handling renal failure, CVAs, TBIs, chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, ABGs, trachs, and wound vacs

This role requires flexibility as you will float between various units, including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Department holding. There is no block scheduling, and local candidates are also encouraged to apply.
