Director of Medical Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Medical Surgery to lead our team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing the strategic direction of our medical surgery department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational systems to support seamless patient flow through the continuum of care.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide leadership and direction throughout the department.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and services to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Lead research projects under the IRB and direct the development of short- and long-range programs to achieve facility objectives.
- Provide direction to staff and supervisors, reviewing performance and approving evaluations.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner licensure.
HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bay County and the surrounding communities.
