Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fitness Center Staff member. As a key member of our fitness team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests and members have an exceptional experience in the Fitness Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Fitness Center and enforce all rules and policies to guests and members.
  • Learn how to correctly use the weight machines and equipment available and provide assistance when needed.
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the fitness center, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of workout equipment, machines, and lobby areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, apply risk management skills, and maintain the Fitness Center.
  • Restock locker room supplies and towel services, and perform administrative duties.
  • Ensure residents adhere to Fitness Center policies at all times.
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Must have open availability for weekday evenings and both morning and evening availability for weekends.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to communicate rules and regulations to members.
  • Ability to handle conflict/confrontation well.
  • Understands and follows oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient in handling job responsibilities.
  • Able to multitask, work independently and with a team, and perform detail-oriented functions.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual.
  • Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 45lbs.
