- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote a smooth post-operative experience.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, applying evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in the practicing state.
- Two years of med-surg, post-operative care, or critical care nursing experience, preferably in the last 3-5 years.
- Current CPR certification.
This role requires working in a fast-paced care suite environment, with potential exposure to occupational hazards, bloodborne pathogens, and communicable diseases. Consistent work hours outside of normal business hours, including evenings and overnights, may be required.
Physical and Mental Demands- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods.
- Excellent vision, hearing, smell, and balance.
- Requires lifting, carrying, or moving heavier objects (up to 100 pounds) and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
