At Moffitt Cancer Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to participate in our 12-month APP Fellowship Program in the Breast Oncology Department.

Job Summary

The fellow will work closely with our team to provide patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG). This innovative program offers licensed APRNs or PA-Cs the opportunity to specialize in the evaluation, management, and treatment of oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients with different medical problems, procedures, and co-morbidities.
  • Work within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocol(s).

Credentials and Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nursing Program or an accredited Physician Assistant Program along with board certification in APRN or PA-C is required.
  • Licensure as an APRN or Physician Assistant in the state of Florida one month prior to fellowship start date is required.
  • Current certification in BLS and ACLS and maintenance of certifications while in the fellowship is required.
  • Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; critical care experience is a plus.
