**Job Description:**

As a Food Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of liquid food products and concentrates at System One. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the blending of liquids to make bulk batches and stage ingredients using industrial scales with forklift assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow FDA guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP's) to ensure the safe and efficient production of liquid food products and concentrates.
  • Blend liquids together to make bulk batches and lift materials weighing up to 50lbs to chest level and place product into tanks.
  • Safely operate sit-down electric forklifts and mixing equipment, including industrial pressure vessels used to cook and process food ingredients.
  • Ensure cleanliness and quality of product and manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior manufacturing, processing, or other food production experience is highly desirable but not required in lieu of other type of manufacturing or warehousing experience.
  • The ability to read and follow written instructions is essential.
  • Physical requirements include lifting 50lbs and standing for long periods of time.
