Thrive Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Specialist to join our CSP Team at Post Rd. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and intake evaluations in clients' homes
  • Provide individual, couples, family, or group counseling within your scope of competencies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, documenting services consistently with Center standards and insurance requirements
  • Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies, and individuals in the client's network of care
  • Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up, and aftercare
  • Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed
  • Coordinate community resources, transportation for clients, and referrals to appropriate resources, including services within the Center
  • Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in the human service field of social work or counseling preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients with disabilities preferred
  • Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred
  • Licensed at an independent level
  • Basic computer literacy skills necessary
