Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and ambitious attorney to work with our existing book of business clients in the State of Minnesota. As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for preparing pleadings and ancillary correspondence for all phases of litigation, conducting motion practice and attending court when required, and effectively communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file pleadings and other legal documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support legal arguments and recommendations.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to resolve issues and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Attend court hearings and trials as required.
  • Document account and file activity in accordance with firm and client policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law, rules of court, and court procedures through continuing education and training.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Portable book of business preferred.
  • Good standing and qualified to practice law in the State of Minnesota.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
