About the Role

We are looking for an Environmental Laborer to join our team at HireQuest Direct. This role involves handling waste materials, sorting recyclables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the collection, sorting, and disposal of waste materials. They will operate machinery as needed, following safety protocols. Additionally, they will sort and process recyclable materials to ensure maximum recovery and compliance with recycling standards.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The selected candidate will regularly inspect and clean equipment and work areas, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with other team members and supervisors to optimize waste management processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Be able to perform various physical tasks such as lifting, pulling, pushing, standing, and walking for an entire shift.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to safety.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen.

Estimated Salary: $18 per hour
