Syracuse Hearing Solutions is a leading audiology practice with multiple locations throughout Syracuse, NY. With a commitment to delivering exceptional care, they utilize the latest technology in a patient-centric environment that prioritizes patient needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree and 2 years of clinical experience. A valid state licensure as an Audiologist in New York or eligibility for licensure is also required.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations for patients of all ages
- Providing hearing aid fittings and full services with major manufacturers
- Performing vestibular evaluations, including videonystagmography (VNG) and other diagnostic tests
- Assessing and diagnosing Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and recommending interventions
- Performing Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) tests to evaluate auditory nerve function
- Managing cochlear implant evaluations and mappings for patients with severe to profound hearing loss
- Developing and implementing aural rehabilitation programs to enhance communication skills and quality of life
- Evaluating and providing personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing tinnitus
- Utilizing real ear measurement techniques to verify and fine-tune hearing aid fittings
- Evaluating the performance of hearing aids and other auditory devices
- Providing fitting, maintenance, and support for Lyric hearing devices
