About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Moliar Hospitality Group. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and perform repairs efficiently.
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.
  • Assist with customer queries and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
  • Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with ample notice.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
