POSITION SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering exceptional patient care through a systematic nursing process that includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role involves directing and coordinating comprehensive nursing care tailored to the medical-surgical services, adhering to established clinical nursing standards.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, ultimately achieving optimal patient outcomes.

The nurse may also serve in a Resource Nurse capacity when appropriately oriented and directed. This position supports the overarching vision and mission of the organization. It is crucial to integrate knowledge of patients' age, developmental status, and cultural diversity into the nursing care provided.

Contributions to quality nursing care are made through performance improvement initiatives that yield positive patient care results.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING:

- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in California.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in leadership, interpersonal relations, teamwork, quality improvement, and professionalism.

- Current California RN license required.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS (AHA), Basic Dysrhythmia Certification, and NIHS Stroke Certification are mandatory.

- Must possess proficiency in both written and spoken English.

- Minimum of one year of acute care experience is required.
