Human Development Services of Westchester (HDSW) is a leading non-profit organization committed to fostering community and providing opportunities for individuals. Since 1968, we have been at the forefront of developing community-based direct-care services for vulnerable populations in New York State. Our approach is centered on delivering person-focused, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive services through a diverse array of innovative programs.
Position Overview:
The Supportive Housing Program Supervisor collaborates closely with the Director of Supportive Housing to oversee the daily functions of the Supportive Housing and Rental Assistance initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering and coordinating services effectively.
- Supervising and mentoring staff to ensure the delivery of person-centered services.
- Ensuring quality assurance and adherence to corporate compliance standards.
- Managing data and undertaking various projects as directed by the Director of Supportive Housing.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in behavioral health and housing.
- Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
- Strong skills in computer/EHR systems, communication, interpersonal relations, organization, and administration are essential.
- The ability to multitask, work independently, and perform duties both in an office setting and in the field is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and access to a vehicle for fieldwork is required.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check and fingerprinting is mandatory.
- Eligibility to work legally in the United States is required.
