Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our CFO Advisory team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, with experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, and general accounting functions for clients across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals to ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and projects.
  • Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations and monthly financial reports for clients.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Prepare management reports with KPIs.
  • Develop cash forecasts to assist management with forecasted cash flows.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project/time management skills.
  • Ability to present in front of C-suite and senior management.
  • Be creative and think outside the box and thrive on new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Professional designation, i.e., CA, CMA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation support.
  • Experience with emerging technologies and knowledge and use of accounting/finance systems - Netsuite, Intaact, Quickbooks, Adaptive, Blackline, CCH, OneStream is preferred.
  • Years of work experience, specifically related to accounting and controller roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
