Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in assessing and providing therapy to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each student, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy services to students individually and in groups, promoting effective communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals and progress.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review student progress and develop goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license from the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
  • Credentialing: California Educator Credential in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
