Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Cath Lab team plays a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in patient care situations, using standards of care, policy, and procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Employ patient teaching strategies to promote health and safety, and evaluate progress toward desired outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
