Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Stabilization Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Stabilization Specialist, you will work with adults who are at imminent risk of hospitalization and out-of-home placement, providing essential life skills training and support.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with clients to encourage response in treatment and foster the development of goals directly related to the client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
  • Provide crisis stabilization services for 8-10 hours per day, including basic living skills such as personal hygiene maintenance, food preparation, and adequate nutrition management.
  • Link clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers, including outpatient counseling, medication management, and group counseling.
  • Implement safety plans based on client need to ensure safety in their current environment while assessing and alleviating high-risk behaviors.
  • Maintain up-to-date client documentation and prepare timely and accurate reports according to internal policies, procedures, and protocol.
