About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to join Walmart's Global Audit team as a Director, Audit. As a trusted and valued business partner, you will play a critical role in protecting the company while maintaining independence and objectivity in your approach and mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, anticipate, and prioritize risks, determining whether they are adequately mitigated, and act as remediation stewards to ensure that solutions address root causes sustainably.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and develop talent in a supportive environment, challenging each associate to grow and develop consistent with Walmart's high-performance culture.
  • Operate comfortably with ambiguity and lead the team through multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Apply data analytics approaches to drive efficiencies, assess and monitor risks, develop audit plans, build, and analyze hypotheses to solve complex business problems or assess processes and controls in an audit context.
What You'll Bring
  • A track record of providing inventive and sustainable solutions for big problems and opportunities.
  • Experience in internal/external audit, management information systems, or related areas, with a minimum of 5 years of experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate risks and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
What We Offer

As a Director, Audit at Walmart, you will receive a competitive salary range of $110,000.00-$220,000.00, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including 401(k) match, stock purchase plan, paid maternity and parental leave, PTO, multiple health plans, and more.
