Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on eDiscovery requirements and issues to Army litigation attorneys and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of eDiscovery policies and practices to enhance the agency's handling of eDiscovery.
  • Develop and implement a strategic training plan for the agency to provide effective and efficient eDiscovery and document and case management practices.
  • Create eDiscovery training and materials for attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Provide advice on legal and policy questions related to eDiscovery and make recommendations on proposed rules, policy, legislation, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. territory, the District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Must have at least 2 years of professional legal experience, acquired after being admitted to the bar, commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Working Conditions

This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for access for the duration of employment.

This position requires the incumbent to maintain active bar membership, in good standing (as defined by the pertinent bar) of the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. territory, the District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
