We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Campus Event Coordinator at Monte Vista Christian School. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of external events held on campus, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols, and providing exceptional customer service to event organizers, participants, and attendees.

As the primary point of contact for event coordination, the Campus Event Coordinator will manage any issues that arise and ensure that the facility is maintained to the highest standards. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the site during events to ensure smooth operation
  • Enforcing rules and safety precautions of the facility/location
  • Assisting event participants and responding to questions and concerns
  • Supporting facility staff with event setup and cleanup
  • Ensuring safety awareness and a positive work environment
  • Notifying the Campus Rentals Manager of issues related to facilities, event participants, or spectators
  • Notifying the Campus Rentals Manager of needed supplies and equipment
  • Being the first to arrive and the last to leave, ensuring all post-event procedures are completed
  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the event location as needed
  • Introducing yourself to event organizers and key personnel, ensuring they know you are the point of contact
  • Inspecting the facility, lobby, and seating areas to ensure safety and cleanliness

Requirements for this position include:

  • Any combination of education and/or relevant professional experience providing the necessary skills and knowledge for successful job performance is acceptable
  • A strong background in event management, with experience in coordinating and supervising large gatherings
  • Knowledge of event rules, protocols, and standard safety practices
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, event staff, and the public, with a courteous and tactful approach
  • Ability to supervise and maintain control of participants, organizers, and attendees

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
