Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team in Med/Surg. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care through the supervision of delegated nursing acts and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet the needs of patients and the team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a Mobile Unit or similar setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
  • CPR certification or eligibility to complete within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • EPIC Super User or demonstrated EPIC proficiency.
  • Critical Care experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ultrasound PIV insertion training or basic PIV insertion skills.
  • National certification in specialty area, if available.
