Celebree Learning Centers is a renowned provider of high-quality early childhood education. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Child Development Specialist.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classroom operations, ensuring compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards. This includes creating engaging lesson plans, providing a welcoming environment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that meet weekly themes and curriculum requirements.
  • Supervise children during activities, provide positive discipline techniques, and maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, including regular updates on their child's development and progress.
  • Collaborate with the assistant teacher to ensure efficient classroom management and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 90 clock hours in Child Development and Curriculum Planning or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a licensed preschool classroom or equivalent.
  • 9 clock hours of training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
