About the Job

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team on a travel assignment in Louisiana.

Job Summary

This is a 15-week travel opportunity for an MRI Technologist to work in a 197-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in MRI technology and be able to work a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including on-call requirements. The technologist will also be responsible for floating to a free-standing emergency department.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist patients with preparing for MRI procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements
  • ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications
  • LA license as a Radiology Technologist
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
