About the JobThis is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a start date of September 30, 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catheterization laboratory procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
- Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
- Assist cardiologists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating, and obtaining catheters, wires, and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Two years of cath lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Weekly pay and direct deposit.
