Position Summary
The role of a licensed Esthetician is pivotal in delivering exceptional skincare services and personalized home care recommendations. An Esthetician is responsible for ensuring guests feel relaxed and pampered, which contributes to high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer comprehensive and professional esthetic treatments, following established company protocols.
- Achieve and maintain the department's revenue and guest retention targets.
- Provide guests with a detailed skincare regimen after each treatment.
- Exhibit thorough knowledge of all services and products, educating guests accordingly.
- Promote spa treatments, retail offerings, packages, and seasonal specials actively.
- Prepare treatment rooms in accordance with established standards.
- Adhere to universal health and safety protocols as mandated by local regulations and spa policies.
- Perform cleaning and restocking of treatment areas as per spa guidelines.
- Participate in scheduled departmental meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Deliver services within the professional scope defined by local laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid state license to perform esthetic services.
- Completion of skin and waxing training from an accredited institution.
- Preferred experience of 12 to 18 months in a luxury resort or urban day spa setting.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Technical Skills
- In-depth understanding of human anatomy and the effects of various esthetic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality skincare services.
- Proficient in using computer systems.
