Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Medical City Dallas (MCD) as a Travel Nurse in the Transplant ICU. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with critically ill patients and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Transplant ICU, including titrating drips, managing ventilators, and caring for patients on BiPAP.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit-specific initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Float to other ICUs, PCU, and BMT units as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong ICU experience, with a focus on transplant care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
Work Environment

The Transplant ICU at Medical City Dallas is a 10-bed unit that provides care to critically ill patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including ventilators, CRRT machines, and IV pumps. The team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is committed to excellence in patient outcomes and satisfaction.
